Sierra won't download on macbook

I have tried 3 times to download sierra on Macbook PRO, and using OS10.9.5 with >60GB free space, 8GB ram. Says it will take 12 hrs. Next day it just says it was unable.

MacBook Pro, iOS 10.0.2

Try powering off and then back on your router and modem and rebooting you computer.

Next try when connected to another network

My download has run now for 11 hours and still says I it will take another 26 hours. This is on at a download rate of 107.8 mbps.
